Here's the thing, this book felt mundane in the most complicated way possible. I don't want to say realistic but it is the opposite of what I gravitate towards as escapism from real life. But I have to appreciate the nuances of the book and inner monologues of the MC. Though I probably wouldn't have finished the book if I didn't listen to the audiobook sporadically in the middle of physically reading it.
