The second book in Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series completely thrilled me once again! Sanderson creates a complex and fascinating world that immediately captivates the reader. The magic system is not only creative, but also logical and well thought out, so that everything makes clear sense. In this book, we get deeper impressions of the characters, their development and their inner conflicts, which makes the story even more intense.

Some moments touched me so much emotionally that I cried because many twists and turns were completely unexpected. Nevertheless, there were a few small aspects that didn't quite convince me compared to the first book, which is why I'm taking half a star away.
