Xeni by Rebekah Weatherspoon

4.0

I didn’t think I could love this series any more than I already did with Rafe, but Xeni and Mason’s love story was just what my wholesome but kinky heart needed.

This story starts off with Xeni flying to upstate New York to spread her aunt Sable’s ashes and clean out of her house before returning back to California. At the small ceremony her aunt Sable arranged for her home going, Xeni gets to meet several different friendly faces that were impacted and forever changed by her aunt Sable. One of those people being a very tall, Scottish, white man name Mason who just so happens to play the bagpipe during her aunt’s ceremony. The next day when Xeni goes to meet with her aunts lawyers to figure out what to do with her estate, Xeni is met with some very shocking news and in order for her to receive the inheritance that aunt Sable left her, she has to marry Mason.

When I tell you I laughed, swooned, gasp, wrote down some ideas (wink wink) and had my heart hurt for how Xeni and Mason were treated and how hard they had to work through all their family issues in this book! I could honestly say I never in my life wanted a male mc to stump a mud hole in their parent as much as I wanted Mason to square his father up. But the love and affection both Xeni and Mason had for each other was unmatched. They listen, talked through problems, and was there for each other when the other one needed it the most. I can’t wait to see more of them and see more stories about Xenia’s friend group.
