A very strong start!! This comic blends some of my favorite elements from Supernatural and Sword Interval. This story is terrifyingly gory but so very interesting. The mystery of what exactly is killing the children holds tension until the last chapter. The reveal of the monster is very dramatic. Also, I really enjoy Erica Slaughter as a character so far. She's rough around the edges, but obviously doing what she can to help save people from monsters. I've been looking for a book or comic that involves a female monster hunter, and this fits the bill perfectly. I ended up really enjoying the more sketchy art style, though it's a little rough in the first chapter.
