Highly recommended - this book was suggested to me numerous times, but since I understood the framework, I never got around to reading it until now. My therapist suggested a good time to finally get y out would be before the holidays, and I absolutely agree... I am so glad that I finally picked it up. Even if you think you know the concepts discussed within inside and out, it is still absolutely worth the read. The book is a healing journey and helped me find an even deeper understanding of my childhood and adult daughter wounds. The checklists and exercises were profoundly beneficial, even if it just confirmed what I already knew. The real-world examples and the practical tips are very helpful... not only do they provide great tools for the person just beginning this journey, they also help to enhance understanding and give deeper meaning to those already using the tools and tactics.
I don't think I've ever digitally bookmarked as much as I did with this - honestly so much that I know I'll end up buying myself a hard copy sometime in the future.
There are quite a few workbooks out there to accompany this book, and I look forward to checking them out for further growth and healing.
