5.0
- Great vocab (palimpsest, apocryphal, weltschmertz)
- I love the allusions to their future; it feels like an offered comfort to get us through their present-day struggles
- Beautiful and immersive writing; engaging story. I loved unraveling Sam's mystery
- Marx's chapter BROKE ME. Extremely well done, I sobbed the whole time
- Loved the POV switch to "Pioneers"
- Not a happy ending, but a realistic one with a touch of hope
- Dong's chapter also affected me deeply, and I hope he gave Sadie DK as a final push for Sam to get in contact with her again (like the Bat Mitzvah gift)
- #211 in weddings was super sweet
