The Diplomat's Wife by Pam Jenoff
2.0
This book is like one of those activities in class where someone starts a story and then passes it onto other classmates who each add their own elements. By the end, the story is unrecognizable. Wtf did I read? I thought the first part was boring and rather pointless, but it really started to get good midway through. That’s where two stars come in; however, it’s like the editor was feeling the same as me about the beginning so the author was like, “oh, yeah, we should bring back some of those characters from the beginning and make this a totally implausible cliché suspense-romance.”
