At Any Turn by Brenna Aubrey
5.0
It happened again! Brenna Aubrey has pulled me into Mia and Adam's life and investing my heart. This story picks up where the first one left off, and we have Adam learning there is more to life than work. Things seems really good until Mia begins getting her medical school acceptances and now life is taking a turn. But there is more than meets the eye here. And it isn't good. Throughout their journey, I have felt all kinds of emotions. I have been head over heels in love, frustrated beyond belief and in complete chaos wondering what is happening. These two are meant to be together, and issues are getting in their way. The biggest is communication! Now with my emotions on edge, I am grabbing book 3 so I can see where their story goes. Aubrey is so talented, and I am enjoying her writing style. A little angsty, a little steamy and a story that you can sink your teeth into. It's fantastic.
Add in Jason Clarke as the narrator, and we have magic. He brings these characters to life. This is mainly told from Adam's point of view, and Clarke has crawled into his head and given the performance so much. He lets us understand and feel the story, leaving us wanting more.
