I really enjoyed this book. The review gives you a very interesting insight to what happens in the book... I was captivated by the abilities and choices of the characters... Even if some annoyed me to no end (ehem... Meena's bother -oh, sorry- brother Jon) I think this is a book for both the people who are in love with the vampire phenomenon and for those who are totally against it...
I believe Meg Cabot brought to us a new kind of vampire novel, without necessarily taking out the characteristics of the typical one. We have the girl who fell in love with a vampire and there's this vampire hunter who wants the girl to turn her lover in... Mix in some more captivating details that said vampire is actually Dracula's son. But it also points out the obvious and somehow tedious aspects of the phenomenon vampirism has brought into the decade. Like their remarkable good looks, and the restraint they need to not have their lovers for a meal.
I thoroughly enjoyed this books and was biting my nails whenever Lucien didn't appear for too long.. So for either Twi-lovers or haters, I recommend this book, of Course as long as you like medium paced vampire story with a little psychic abilities mixed within.
