Holy cow this book! Sarah J Maas has done it again! Even into the third book of the series, her characters continue to grow and develop. I was very excited she added more about the other High Lords and their lands into this book as it helped with the development of the world. I honestly didn't really care for Nesta's character in the first two books because she just seemed so cold and hateful in the first two books. But in ACOWAR, you get to see a little bit of the side that wasn't present in the first two books and it made me like her. I feel like the characters are a part of me now because Maas has done such an amazing job at creating complex, likable or hateable characters that have nestled into my heart. I can't wait for the next installment (even though it won't be here until next year *UGH*).
