Clown in a Cornfield 2: Frendo Lives by Adam Cesare
5.0
Scream meets the Midwest with a clown as the villain, take two!
Clown in a Cornfield 2 exceeded all expectations. I was a major fan of the first book and though incredibly excited for this novel, I kept putting it off. I finally finished it and am so glad I did! I wasn't sure how Cesare would be able to raise the stakes, but he masterfully executed it.
Conspiracy theorists have spun the story of the massacre, painting Quinn, Cole, and Rust as the "real" perpetrators of the Kettle Springs Massacre. The threat that hoped was behind them is ever present, lurking in the corners of their city, ready to exact what they foolishly believe is revenge for Kettle Springs and Frendo.
