I really enjoyed it. They moved along the mystery of Beckett, I mean Heat's, mother's death much more quickly than the TV series did. And I noticed the pair of detectives named Malcolm and Reynolds this time. It's pretty tightly plotted considering how many way-too-long books there are out there.
