FUCK. YES. This book was bloody damn amazing! It reads like an 80s retro slasher film and I absolutely freaking LOVED it because that is my happy place. Now this might be classified as YA but don’t let that fool you into thinking that this book is easy on the horror or just for younger readers. It is absolutely BRUTAL and chock full of gore and guts which I definitely wasn’t expecting but I am not complaining one bit because I ate it right up! Some moments literally had my jaw hanging and my skin crawling and it’s always a good sign when a book does that. Sometimes in horror certain ideas get overdone but that is most definitely not the case with this gem of a book, it is absolutely unique and puts its own awesome and one of a kind spin on the evil clown story!
