Amended review: After rereading, I’m increasing my rating because, and I don’t say this lightly, it’s as good as Sarah J. Maas.
——————————-
I’ve been in a reading rut, with a pile of half finished books to show for it. I finished this in 2 days.
I like to think that it’s hard to surprise me, especially when it comes to fantasy/romance plot twists. The last five chapters had me taking breaks to BREATHE.
Now I’m the one praying to Nyaxia, hoping my local bookstore has the sequel in stock.
