I really tried and I don't usually DNF as early as 40 pages but I just couldn't.
I am not at all attracted to the characters.
The space stuff and worldbuilding isn't making any sense because it's not being explained in the least bit.
We're jumping back and forth between the characters' past and present but I really can't bring myself to care about them.

I wa honestly excited for this but it's been disappointing.
