Black Birds in the Sky: The Story and Legacy of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre by Brandy Colbert

challenging emotional informative reflective sad fast-paced

As someone who did not learn about the Tulsa Massacre/Black Wall Street, the moment I learned of it, through TikTok of all places, this book helped me find out more.

I think this is a book everyone should read. It is important to learn history, especially a piece of history that was purposely buried. The victims of this massacre deserve to have their stories known.

Read this book. It's took important not to.
