The Light of All That Falls by James Islington
3.0
This book had great moments, but in-between those moments was 6,000 years of lore, condensed into a small series. Which means there's a fair portion just swallowed up by exposition. It loses site of what made the first book great, which was a focused narrative, fast-paced plot, and intriguing world. It becomes a slog to read. However, the moments that are great, shine.
