Wow, this book was incredible!! Gracie and Cal were such an excellent pairing. I loved how he was there for her as a friend first and it was amazing to watch their story develop into something more. This book had its fair share of trauma, but I think Coney approached it carefully and meaningfully. Grace was an excellent FMC and she was so strong. Cal was also incredible and the way he cared for Maddie was so sweet and heartwarming. This was sweet and wholesome with a little spice and great relationship development. This felt like a slow burn, but not painfully or impatiently, and I appreciated the build-up to get Grace and Cal in a solid spot. There was also no third-act break up which was lovely. Overall, I loved this book and I'm so excited to see what Coney will do next! Thanks to Page and Vine books for sending me a finished copy!
