The Mystery of Marie Rogêt by Edgar Allan Poe

3.0

“Those who are guilty of such horrid crimes, choose darkness rather than light…”

Not quite as stunning as The Murders in the Rue Morgue but still a solid detective tale. I really appreciate the attention to detail Poe brings forth in these stories and it shows how clever not only the detective is, but the writer as well.

Dupin has done it again.
