I had to read this book as a college Literature requirement and since then I've used it in several other classes while designing lesson plans. I love this book and if it's possible I will find a way to use it in my classroom once I'm a teacher. Definitely a must read!

NOTE: I wrote this review in 2002 and since then I taught this book with my sixth graders for many years! They love it too!
