Initially gave 4 stars bc I had read this right after finishing Viola Davis’s memoir (which is a completely different genere intended for adults and tbh untouchable)

But I’ve thought about this book and it’s characters after putting it down enough times to make a mental not to go back and re-rate.
4.5/5 rounded up.

Fleshed put characters, easy to dive into Stars world, obv touched important - yet infuriating - topics & I truly believe it can have a lasting impact on generations of readers. Hope schools r picking it up!
