Ughhh so good. Why weren't there YA novels like this when I was a young adult? Earnest and relatable and oh so happy.

Some topics covered with intention, care, and expert storyweaving skills:
-interracial non-traditional family unit
-gay marriage
-casual microaggressions/racist grandmas
-ludicrousness of policing body hair
-body positivity
-utter terror of romantic rejection
-AND SO MUCH MORE
