I listened to this on audiobook and it kept drawing me back in. This is the best Star Wars Extended Universe book I've experienced so far. Bane is a compelling character, his development through the book is well executed, and the elements of Sith lore were really interesting to me. The Jedi were side characters and I found the battles with them less compelling than the conflict within the Sith. While that was the main point, the author felt the need to have a climax between the Sith and Jedi which was fine but other aspects were better. Still, highly recommended. I look forward to reading the 2nd and 3rd books in this series.
