This book was ok but I didn't really care for Sybel. I thought I would enjoy her connection with animals, but I didn't since they were enslaved to her. Although they don't seem to mind in the end, so maybe I am more upset than they were.

It was a good story about Sybel's growth as a person but that was basically all the story was. The world building was basically non-existent and there is some kind of magic with names but you never really get a handle on what exactly it is.
