Honestly, I was a little worried about my enjoyment of thrillers before I read this book. I felt like I wasn’t finding a book in this genre that was giving me what I wanted, but count on Shari Lapel to write a book with just the right twists and info drops to keep me engaged through the whole thing. It was a little slow in the middle, but it didn’t lag for long as just as I was starting to feel like we didn’t need the rest of the book, we got a reveal that changed up everything. 

 

And the ending!! Just perfect! Exactly what I wanted!
