Beautiful, thought-provoking, and well-written, this novel takes on a whirlwind adventure through all of Nora’s might-have-been lives. Her journey to finding the right life only ends when she learns what she’s always been looking for, which may come as a surprise. Haig writes of despair, anger, sadness, longing, love, joy, and life in an illuminating and realistic way, teaching the reader plenty of lessons about themselves along the way. With all the thoughts swirling in my head lately, this was the perfect novel on which to end this year. Here’s to finding the life we were meant to live!
