The writing felt very rushed. I understand that it’s a novella, and that the entire premise is forced proximity and arranged marriage, but even with this setting, the story was unfolding at such a rapid pace it almost made it hard to follow what was happening. I’ve not had this issue with any of the other books in this series. Unfortunately, this one just isn’t working for me.
