This is book 2 of the series and it is absolutely essential that you read book 1 to understand the storyline. When you read a duet, you expect it to be like this. People should take lessons from Maggie Cole. Book 2 was exactly the redemption we needed from book 1! After reading book 1, I was in NEED of book 2 to finish the story and that is exactly what happened. Thank you Maggie for understanding the arc that should happen with characters, a plot, and duology (even IF it makes us angry in the meantime haha!)
