Ozma of Oz by L. Frank Baum

5.0

For those of you who have seen the movie, "Return to OZ," it is loosely based upon this book in the series.
Ozma of OZ has the added fun of involving two fairy countries in one story - the Land of Ev and the Land of OZ. For those interested in analysis, the differences between these two fairy countries will be engaging. Perhaps the most fun aspect of the novel is the guessing game in the Nome King's ornament room. The extreme risk and challenge at hand makes for one exciting adventure! Lastly, we are once again introduced to new characters, most notably, the Hungry Tiger, Billina the Chicken, Tik-Tok the Mechanical Man, and the Nome King, Ruler of the Underworld.
