I was reading some reviews on this and I think this might be in the “you either love it or hate it” category. Overall, I enjoyed the read and the vibe and will be reading more from Emilia.
Omegaverse (MFMM)
Instalove
Plus Size Rep (albeit comes with both very positive and very negative views for the story)
Cliffhanger
Fated mates
Check TW!
The story focuses on Josie, who is an omega living in a repressed society for women, specifically omegas. Big government has its hands in everything and wants to have total control over these omegas. Trauma and drama ensues, but she meets a very lovable pack of MMCs to help her work through her issues and to try to build her confidence and trust back.
I think what makes this a win in my eyes is the love, patience, and support you see displayed on page; like drinking a big cup of cocoa on a fall day. I understand at times there is a lot of psychological baggage she is working through and can get tedious for some as the book is over 500 pages (includes crying, whining, jealousy, fear, self-loathing, you get the picture). I thought it was worth the trauma dump to get it the gooey center. Now onto book 2!
