This was my first mythological fiction book, and I am here for it! Circe is a gorgeous slow burn of a book that walks a very thin line between being informative enough to teach uneducated readers about mythology while maintaining a heartfelt narrative that doesn't feel like a textbook. Even with a story that takes place over eons, which seems bound to lull in some moments, Miller never let up. There were so many characters, so many stories, and all of them intertwined seamlessly to create a really beautiful narrative that I never wanted to end.
