Wishful Drinking by Carrie Fisher
3.0
Type of read: Commuter Read.
What made me pick it up: It's Carrie Fisher. Need I say more?
Overall rating: 'Wishful Drinking' is not life-changing or super deep or one of those books you read by famous people that makes you feel like you understand all of their torments and tortures...but it is a pretty good book. I laughed, I learned some things, and mainly, I felt connected to the literal goddess that is Carrie Fisher. I enjoyed hearing about her history and family life and how she came to be a bit of who she was during the time of writing 'Wishful Drinking.' I would recommend the book but only to a certain audience. I think the cadence, topics, and general Carrie-ness of it would be lost on some.
