I Think I Might Need You by Christina C. Jones
3.0
I think I was expecting something more lighthearted and fun based off the first book in the series but the author decided to take another direction with this story. It was definitely more serious because of the story centering around unexpected pregnancy which is one of my least favorite tropes. The main protagonist of this book, Joia, was likeable but I felt that she wasn’t as captivating as Jaclyn. I also found Teddy to be a little bit corny and I can never find dating an influencer appealing. Joia and Teddy never actually talked through any of their problems just made up with grand gestures which I found odd. I did like the story and I do have to give props to Miss Jones for making me like a story with some of my least favorite tropes.
