This book surprised me because I'm not a lover of fantasy novels and only picked this up out of curiosity since it was so highly rated most sites. It pulled me in just wouldn't let me go. I read it through, then the second book in the series and immediately ordered the third. The pacing and the stakes were perfect for my taste.  All in all, I can't wait to get the next book and start reading.
