750 pages of cringeworthy prose and stilted dialogue. Terrible.

I only stuck with it long enough to make it through the first sex scene, which was damn near 30% of the way through, and not at all worth it.

Also, I strongly doubt that early humans ever referred to midday as "noon." Among other anachronistic gaffes.
