I have one word for this book: unnecessary.

Honestly, what was the point of Fatal Deception? The main couple is already married and suddenly, after their wedding, they discover that they have problems because of Mara.
I thought it's stupid that Mara didn't want to tell her ex-CIA-agent husband the truth about her past because she wanted to protect him. Uhm, what?
I still gave it 3 stars because it was an enjoyable read and I'm looking forward the other books in the series.
