A fun continuation of the Checquy world. Not as compelling powers as the first two, but I enjoyed the interweaving of the two time periods into a single narrative, and I also appreciated some more of the Checquy history brought forth.

These books aren’t incredible literature, but they are a fun paranormal series for some easy escapism.
