Elle is unlucky in love. You would think that someone who runs an astrology social media account would be a bit better at finding compatibility, but no. Darcy has no interest in finding love or even a connection. After her last relationship, she has no interest in putting her heart on the line again. But a blind first date gone wrong and a meddling brother forces Darcy to ask Elle if she will fake date her, just for the holidays, which is just fine with Elle because she has her own family she needs to placate. But can they really part ways when their holiday obligations are done? Or is this a love story that was fated to happen?

I had a really fun time reading this book! Getting both Darcy and Elle's POV added to the witty banter and tension built throughout the book. With additions of texting conversations and zodiac sign predictions woven throughout this is a fun, romantic story about putting your heart out there in the hopes that someone with take care of it. Darcy and Elle also show two very real aspects of being a 20-something in 2020. Darcy has a stable, if boring job, but she still enjoys it and is trying her best to have a plan, where Elle is a bit more go with the flow and has a job in social media which her parents do not understand. My biggest critique for this book is that is feels a bit unfinished. I wanted at least one more chapter to really round out Elle and Darcy's story, but I also felt like a lot of it could have been left out and it would have made for a very cute short story. All in all I would recommend this book if you are looking for a romance set around the holidays that will likely pull at your heartstrings.
