Creo que nunca (o hace tiempo) no leía un libro que profundizara tanto en sus personajes y lograra transmitir una montaña rusa de emociones en mí. Los temas de la salud mental, amistad y la vulnerabilidad del hombre es una combinación de la cual me encantó leer porque no suele ser común que vayan de la mano.
Hanya Yanagihara hizo un trabajo magistral con su narrativa, sus juegos con la línea del tiempo sin perder el hilo y adentrarse en describir cómo se sienten sus personajes por dentro y por fuera a través de sus situaciones físicas y mentales; quedé fascinado con su escritura.

I don't think I've ever (or in a long time) read a book that went so deep into its characters and managed to convey a rollercoaster of emotions in me. The themes of mental health, friendship and men's vulnerability are a combination that I loved reading about because it is not common for them to go together.
Hanya Yanagihara did a masterful job with her narrative, playing with the timeline without losing the thread and going into describing how her characters feel inside and out through their physical and mental situations; I was fascinated by her writing.
