I’m so glad to have discovered “The Parting Gift” at Talking Leaves. It is beautifully erotic and deceitful. Mix “The Talented Mr. Ripley” with “Call Me by Your Name” and you’ll have this book. I admit that things happened toward the end that I did not anticipate, but I wouldn’t change a thing. My only hope is that Fallenberg’s other books are as delicious.
