A Risk Worth Taking by Jessica Joyce

This one really surprised me. I’m not usually a fan of steamy, one-night-stand romances, but this is one of the best novellas I’ve ever read. Could I have read more? Absolutely! But it still felt like a complete and satisfying story.
After sharing one perfect night, a winter storm and a cancelled flight force Claire and Connor to unexpectedly spend a few extra days together. The problem? Claire is still determined to leave for San Francisco to pursue a job opportunity as soon as she can. I was so curious to see how these two would end up together!
The banter was addictive, the chemistry was insanely good, and there were so many moments that made my heart positively flutter—especially their adorable December 15th NYE celebration. Honestly, for what I want in a novella, this was perfect. Highly recommend!
