I usually read romantic books, but this is the second book outside of that genre to blow me away. I loved how the historic event was incorporated into a fictional storyline..it was intense and had me fooled as well; not to mention the many plot twists which intrigued my interests more. 
Only negative is that some may find the book writing style and layout confusing as it shifts from present to past  as well as characters point of views.
