A rainbow Rowell book never fails me. I love every book I’ve ever read of hers. At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about it but it ended up keeping me so eager to read. The characters are so realistic and flawed and their inability to communicate in the before made me want to strangle them. This is such a great second chance romance story and it was refreshing to have a realistic read on romance. They struggle with intimacy at times and get off topic when they are, it paints a realistic picture of dating later when there’s more baggage and less ideal circumstances. Cary and Shiloh had me rooting for them always and Mikey was such a perfect counter balance to them. I absolutely loved this book and I devoured it! I couldn’t wait to get home just so I could read more of the story.
