This book was just weird. It follows a bunch of characters and I don't feel like we stay with any of them long enough to really get to know or connect with them. The pacing was also weird. The first character introduced the timeline jumps around a little, and I was pretty confused. She's a child/preteen one moment and she meets somebody and then she's an adult and years have passed. 
It was just weird and didn't make a lot of sense to me.
