This book is the ultimate ‘chunker’ and every word is gold. Fans of epic fantasy adventures should all rush to add this to the tbr shelf. There is a mixture of elves, dwarves, humans, demons, time travel, and fairy tale creatures with attitudes. When I think of the warm feelings I get from reading a great fantasy story, this is exactly the type of book I refer to. It’s Lord of the Rings mixed with Greek tragedy, written in a simplistic voice that says so much without needing complicated sentences. And don’t let the page count deter you...it’s an incredibly enjoyable read filled with adventure after adventure and led by loveable and strong characters.
