This book would easily be fifty pages shorter if the authors cut down their needlessly-lengthy and poor-excuse-for-shock-factor descriptions of murder and dead bodies. Actually, I expected more of a variety in these stories but they all centered around gore and blood, as if that’s all horror entails. These stories all felt like forgettable slasher flicks.
