I’ve loved this duology! Karys is a strong FMC who has so much growth! Dravyn is the sweetest cinnamon roll MMC who just wants to love and take care of Karys regardless of his other duties. 
The side characters in this book were amazing as always, Moth gets more page time which I loved! And Karys gets the opportunity to make amends and learn from her past. The first half of this book you really feel like you’re on the healing journey with Karys, she has new powers she’s trying to figure out as well as deal with the aftermath of the battle that occurred at the end of Flame and Sparrow. 
All of her moments with Dravyn I’d like to bottle up and keep. the ending ripped my heart out, I kept swiping on my kindle hoping for another 100 pages. 
A beautiful but still heart wrenching ending to this duology.
