I had to give this book four stars because I wasn't completely sucked into the story from the first page. It took me a couple chapters to really connect with the characters. I love Luke and Violet. They both had extremely terrible childhoods and it's extremely heartbreaking. I am kind of annoyed that the story leaves off very open ended. I would have gotten the next book regardless. I did really enjoy their story and how different both characters are from other new adult characters I've read about in the past. Once I get through my 30 or so to read books, I will definitely be picking up the next one.
