On my reading journey this year I finally decided to pick up this classic that I had never read before. While typically read by high school students, it was definitely an interesting read for this mental health therapist! I wanted to slap the farm animals back into reality. I hated this book but also understand the relevance of it and what Orwell is trying to tell his audience. I am probably the oldest first time reader of this book. Oops!
