Rental House was a quick read that peaks into the intimate lives and psyche of a married interracial couple and their families. I couldn’t say either of the main characters were very interesting, but more importantly, they felt very realistic. There was unique insight about the Chinese immigrant experience in America and the experience of growing up poor and white in the US. Overall the story was enjoyable and able to keep my attention.
